Validity of a temporary residence permit in Lviv
As a general rule, as defined by law, the period during which a temporary residence permit is valid is 1 year. However, there are certain exceptions, for example, the validity period of a residence permit is equal to the validity period of an employment permit or the period of study at an educational institution.
After the expiration of a temporary residence permit, it can be extended by submitting an application and a package of documents to the migration service no later than 15 working days before the expiration of the permit.
